And would you know it, by the end of the time, I mean, an hour wasn't enough.

I was like, I could do three more hours.

And even to this day, it is my favorite way to connect with the Lord.

And I just think that sometimes it does start out as a discipline before it turns to delight.

Like you really do have to start out as just like, hey, I'm gonna set aside, like practically, I'm gonna set aside this time

to, to pray.

And I always encourage people to pray out loud, just as you would like talk as we would sit here and talk, you know, you, I mean, God can read our minds, of course, but if I just sit here and I try to like pray in my mind, a lot of times, like my mind will start thinking about, you know, that, that Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich.

I'll start thinking about my to-do list of all the things that I need to do.

I'll start thinking.

And then all of a sudden I'm like, wait, what, what was I doing again?

Sorry, God, sorry, God, let me go back there.

And I am really sidetracked.

And so for me, it's looked different in different seasons, but

you know, finding a place, finding a posture and, and, and yeah, and just like, and talking out loud and communing with him, talking, listening, worshiping.

I mean, that's kind of what it's looked like, but it's been an ever evolving thing, you know?
