None of us can save ourselves.
It takes someone outside of enslaved humanity to save a broken people.
And I'm so grateful that we are a part of the only religion where we don't have to work our way up to God.
Like God came to us and took on our sin and our shame so that in him, we could have life.
So that truth changed everything for me.
Yeah.
Amen.
And starting your day in truth, meditating on it, memorizing it.
I mean, it talks about in scripture so much the beauty of what happens when we meditate and delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on scripture and how it changes us.
You know, if the word of God isn't calling you out and isn't offending you, then I don't know if you're really reading the same word that I'm reading.
Because every time I spend time in God's word, it calls me out, it calls me higher, it shows me the way, it encourages me, it speaks life to me, and it points me in the way of truth.
And I think it's so cool because I don't know of any other word other than truth that describes, I mean, you look at the Trinity, God is called the God of truth in scripture, in the book of Psalms.
The spirit, the Holy Spirit is also called the spirit of truth.
And Jesus says, I am the truth.
I don't know if there's another word out there that describes the Trinity like truth does.
And so truth really matters.
And truth, if we don't build our life on the truth and we don't have a full grasp and understanding on what is true, we're gonna constantly be grasping for answers and looking for things to satisfy and to feed what only Jesus can and what only the gospel can.
And so-
That's why it's so important to start there, to have a full revelation on what is truth.
And it does take a moment of being so broken over your sin and realizing how much you need him.
