It tells us in scripture that we are to be set apart in our speech and our conduct and our love and our faith and in our purity, that as believers, we should be really careful what we're taking in and what we're consuming, because that is ultimately what will come out of us.
And so, you know, practicing the presence of God looks like, you know, studying and meditating the word of God, spending time in worship and in prayer, not just before meals, not just before sleep, but actually having a prayer life.
and surrounding yourself with godly community.
I think it's really hard to be a light if you're surrounded by darkness all the time.
And so you need people that are gonna make your light brighter so that then you can go to dark scenarios and situations and be that light.
But if you're only ever surrounded by darkness,
that light is going to get tainted and it's going to get put out really fast.
And so making sure you're in the word of God, you're filled with the spirit of God, and you're surrounded with the people of God is my greatest advice for being a light and staying rooted and grounded in an environment like college.
