Something that a lot of passengers would likely welcome, as we have been seeing painfully long TSA lines all across the country, including here at Hartsfield-Jackson.
People waiting for well over an hour to finally get through TSA.
Travelers packing the hallways of this airport, some arriving three, four hours before their flights.
This is all happening as TSA workers are continuing to get $0 paychecks.
Many are calling out sick, quarantined.
quitting, finding other jobs, as a lot of these workers can't even afford basic necessities.
Travelers we've talked to are obviously frustrated, but they only blame the government.
And it's all because TSA workers are not getting paid, and many are reporting not being able to pay for basics like gas, rent, and food.
So a lot are calling in sick or quitting as they need to find an alternative way to make ends meet.
Nearly 400 of them nationwide have quit since the start of this shutdown.
This region is just not used to this type of snow and it's triggering tons of flight disruptions and countless travelers are just trying to figure out a backup plan right now.
The check-in area of the airport is overflowing with people waiting in a customer service line to try and rebook their flight.
Right now nationwide, we're seeing more than 1,400 cancellations, well over 3,000 delays.
Most of those are coming out of here in Charlotte, but the disruptions are also hitting airports in Raleigh, Atlanta, and Myrtle Beach pretty hard.
These murders happening in broad daylight Saturday in Kissimmee, Florida.
The suspect, 29-year-old Ahmad Bajaj, appearing in court yesterday for the killings with some unusual mannerisms.
He had his head down the entire time.
even refusing to state his name.
And this comes just one day after deputies found the bodies of three men in front of a rental home, the home right next to where the suspect lived.
