So yes, y the way that the team's been able to win games continues to give you confidence.

The way that they've been able to score more runs, I feel like, too, has got to give them a little bit of confidence.

But also just knowing that you've just got to put one foot in front of the other, focus on the game that's right there in front of you, the series that's right there in front of you.

And then we all like to talk about postseason, but there's still a whole what month to play or twenty-something games left to play.

That you have to focus on.

So it's uh kind of trying to find that balance of not looking too far ahead because it can be tempting this time of the year, uh, but also just focusing on winning the game tonight.

When when you're going up and you're facing a team that maybe doesn't have the the best overall record, it's funny because I guess on one side you could look at it going like, Oh, okay, we can go out there and win that game, but I almost feel like as a team you almost can

Put some more pressure on yourself, knowing that, hey, like this team hasn't performed great throughout the entire season.

So we have to go out there and you know do X, Y, and Z, whatever that might be.

So it's it's trying to eliminate that extra pressure that somebody might go up to the plate with or go out to the mound with or go out and play defense with.

Um, and that's why I always go back to what what is your role and what is your job in that moment?

Um, whether it's laying down

A sacrifice bun, hitting a sacrifice fly, um, even just going up there and swinging at the right pitch or executing the right pitch if you're out there on the mound.

So it really does come back to just swatting away as much outside noise as you possibly can.

kind of, you know, helping encourage each other along this this road because obviously it's not ig where the Blue Jays had hoped to be at this point in the season, but there's still a chance.
