But like you said, he was so efficient through the first six innings of the game.

And I love my, you know, going through it, not the heat maps.

I want to call it like the pitch plot map is something that I kind of track throughout the game.

And you can look inning by inning.

And he was just dotting the bottom rail of the strike zone through those first six innings of the game.

So when you're able to,

put the baseball in those locations, also with the amount of movement that he has, you can see how that's a recipe for not a lot of hard contact, and you're going to get a lot of those ground balls.

The difference that I saw in that seventh inning was the pitches still kind of towards the bottom, but just up a little bit more.

And you're thinking, well, how much of a difference is that really going to make?

Well, if you're an offense and you already have the mindset of, okay, this guy has been making us hit ground ball after ground ball after ground ball, I'm just going to drop barrel and see how far underneath this pitch I can get.

When you're bringing that pitch up just a few inches, all of a sudden now, instead of rolling on top of it, you're maybe getting underneath it a bit to hit it more square on the barrel, and then all of a sudden they start to find holes.

So it was just – it's hard for me to sit there and nitpick too at those locations because –

The Tigers made some good adjustments, but it was just, to me, it was just that difference in location being up just slightly more in comparison to where he had been throwing it earlier in the game that possibly made a difference in that inning.

But got to give them credit, too, for stringing together all of those at-bats.

That's something that I know we've talked about, about the Blue Jays lineup wanting to lengthen it out and string together quality at-bats.

Well, they just put on a clinic on how to do that in the top of the seventh inning.

And it's unfortunate because Soriano was throwing so well

so incredibly well.

But I'm with you.

You're thinking at that point, like, is he going to go into the eighth inning the way that he was throwing?
