There's a division, Jen, between how he sees things and how his advisors see things.
If it were up to his advisors and and Jonathan and I have reporting in the book about this, just you know, advisors would say
Late last year into early this year, that they wish he was more anxious about the political landscape.
They wish that he was more aware and concerned about how voters were feeling uh about the economy.
But what often looked like anxiety on his truth social feed or, you know, when he was upset in an Oval Office spray was really just, you know, him being him.
And he they've repeatedly said he's going to go out and campaign.
He's done a handful of events, but not very much.
Many and instead, as you say, he's out talking about a helipad that is not where most voters' attention is.
But he is not the person who is going to face a lot of problems with that oversight.
It is a lot of his advisors, but not even his advisors in the White House necessarily.
It's people outside the government, his family, uh the the family of Steve Whitkoff, of Howard Lutnik.

The book, he has told people he is going to pardon any number of people who came within a certain radius of the Oval Office.
He is walking around with a presidential immunity ruling from the Supreme Court that he talks about not infrequently or has.
And it is other people who are going to bear the brunt of this.
And this is not a a White House gen that is really focused on legislating.
They are focused on executive power.
And so there he is.
