What stood out to you about it?

And that detachment works both ways because sometimes, you know, we're encouraged to just let it go, water off a duck's back.

And usually people are referring to criticism.

But it's also true when it comes to praise and adulation as well that, you know, you can't cling to that and then expect not to be hung up on a piece of criticism.

Yeah.

So every time I listen to Father Greg speak, I'm reminded of something that I think is just so core or kind of like the marrow of the gospel that he said, that God is love and we can have lots of competing visions or images of God that are not loving.

And that paradigm shift

That God is, in fact, love and that through those goggles or that eyewear, we are meant to see one another and to see the world.

It sounds radical at first, and I might be tempted to think that I need to go to a retreat or a monastery in order to see the world like that.

But Father Greg shows that it's quite the opposite.

He's doing it on the streets of LA, you know, with former gang members.
