That's all I know of the NBA when I was living in Greece.

So to me, Magic Johnson was like an idol.

We were on the road somewhere and we watched it on television.

When John Kennedy got assassinated.

It's one of those moments when 9-11 happened.

You kind of remember where you were at that time.

And I happened to be watching TV at the time and it came on as breaking news.

And obviously we couldn't believe it.

My cousin, who was living in Washington, D.C., was one of the earliest patients with AIDS.

He was a hemophiliac and he got it from a blood transfusion.

And we would always, you know, I was... Whenever I got to Washington, D.C., I would go to the hospital and sit by his bedside.

And we were never told not to touch or not to feel or not to do anything.

You know, it was just kind of a normal thing that he just got a blood transfusion that was not good.

So we knew it was kind of more of a blood thing.

So...

I had like an early kind of recognition of what was going on with this.
