And I am also a proud K through 12 product of CMS schools, graduated from Providence High School.
I am
I went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I got a degree in music and then studied accounting after that.
So vendors, suppliers, business associates.
And I think that's some great background and experience that I can bring forward to the city of Charlotte.

Colleagues, I think that we, you know, I agree with my colleague, Council Member Graham and Council Member Mayfield, that we shouldn't rush the process.
But we did vote on a timeline and we adopted it.
And now we are doing this amendment, which council member Mayfield accepted the friendly amendment from council member Wallington.
So I think our due diligence, right, as council members serving our constituents is to follow through with the timeline, right?
and to add that extra step and to that point find a, which I think can be a conversation perhaps offline, that middle spot of when we would schedule that special meeting.
That midpoint that allows us the flexibility to still follow through with the timeline but as well as make the necessary adjustments that we're talking about today.
