So lots of carve-outs there that Cricket Australia would want to make to ensure that

The league is operating, the new league is operating to produce 2020 players to play for Australia in international competition and to grow the game.

So that's a messy starting point to set up that new body with the carve-outs, but leave enough there for the tech tycoon, the $200 million tech tycoon to come in and say, okay, I want to buy one of those.

Yeah.

And that's a hurdle.

Look, a lot of that work will have been done, I think, by consultants, but it needs to be set out there and explained.

What's next on your shopping list?

Next on the shopping list was that CA would need to change its governance.

I think that's relatively simple.

It would change its governance so that it could carve out

the BBL and give it to this new organisation with those areas protected.

It may involve giving a perpetual licence, such as the AFL teams and other league teams have, rather than just that 14-year lease, which they have at the moment.

It may mean that in order to increase the value, to get some real value into it, they have to give a perpetual licence or a 50-year licence or whatever.

So there may be some of that.

Now, I've read in different parts of the media that the states want a complete overhaul of the governance of Cricket Australia.

That'd be disappointing.

They did that about 12 or 13 years ago, set up a relatively independent board to get away from the old structure where the states exerted all of the powers.

If they're going back to that

structure with the states, people from state boards transferring and sitting on the Australian board.

I think that's a backward step.
