But Miller is the former Trump aide, and he's also the son-in-law, like you said, of Senator Bernie Moreno.
And
Bernie Marino came out publicly and said that Max Miller has put his family through hell.
He said he fails basic standards of character for elected office and that he, quote, holds his breath every minute that Miller has custody of his granddaughter.
And then he says Miller should not serve in Congress until he seeks help.
He called it a clear pattern of abuse.
And I think that's something that we see with a lot of folks who are in positions that are elected at this point.
There are clear patterns within the Republican Party of abuse.
There are clear patterns of sexual assault.
And
It would be really great if he is held accountable, but I think, speaking of patterns, what we have seen on their side of the aisle is the inability to do so, the inability to hold their own party to account.
The one thing that is a beacon of hope for me is that we have seen how Republicans band together.
They do not eat their own.
They will not go against Donald Trump.
They did not hold Pete Hegseth accountable.
They are not willing to go against the party line and do what's right, which is a sign of where we are from a societal perspective that any one of those people has an office in the first place.
But to have a senator in the Republican Party come out and publicly say that another Republican
should not be in public office tells me personally that this is real because because because if it wasn't real he would keep his mouth shut he would tow the party line he would protect the party just like they all have been doing this that alone the fact that that senator moreno spoke up and said absolutely not he should not be knowing that it would throw it would throw the power
He still said he should not be in a position of authority or in a public office.
And to me, that's the biggest hell of them all.
