I think it's hard to dispute that that's the scene and sequence of the episode for the reasons Joe mentioned.

And I agree that the faithful nature of the adaptation is really heartening and cool and gives me like a lot of faith for the series overall.

But the additions felt so like energized.

One would be The Falling Star.

which made me tear up just seeing Dunk and Egg together, our hedge knight and his diminutive squire Egg.
