And let's figure out ways to

to attack the sense that we should not be walking on eggshells in the most diverse, largest, productive democracy in the history of democracies.

Let's actually recognize that we live at this very ambitious moment where we're trying to pull off something really cool.

So let's try to have these conversations.

Let's listen and engage.

You know, what's really tragic about this is that after October 7th, we had chapters at places like NYU, Columbia, UT Austin, where you had a lot of these protests.

And right after October 7th, you talk to Jewish students and there's a genuine fear.

There's a genuine feeling of.

I can't operate on my campus.

I can't engage.

Now you fast forward a year and a half, two years later, and you talk to students, immigrant students, they have a genuine fear.

They feel like they can't engage.

They can't live their lives.

They can't be intellectually diverse, engage with different viewpoints.

Here's my view on this is that irrespective of the moment we're in,

We cannot continue on with a world in which we enable cultures, we enable conversations, we enable a value system where we push down the alternative views, where we push down views that we disagree with, where we push down views that feel fundamentally anathema to us.

Because if we can't have conversations and we can't do that at this time on a college campus, for God's sake, of all places, where else are we going to be able to do that?

But I think the tide is turning and I think it's happening right now.

I totally understand what you're saying, which is how do I get this conversation to my brother who's in 10th grade right now and has content spans of a certain timeline.
