And you know, and look, this this like correlates to the whole kind of obsession, you know, last decade in the in our culture with, you know, safetyism and and sort of uh speech suppression and so forth. podcast-host

And so, but it's like it's really kind of infected the AI field, you know, really hard. podcast-host

And so um, what's happened is there's basically a tribe of hackers on on the on the internet that basically uh want to do something different and they want to basically podcast-host

They unleash creativity and they want to be able to kind of unleash, you know, a a level of of sort of wildness and spontaneity and, you know, basically exploring ideas and, you know, having bots that are able to like be funny. podcast-host

I mean, God forbid, you know, a bot that's funny, right? podcast-host

You know, if if you tell a big lab they're bot as funny, they're horrified if if if you know, but you know, you you might actually want there to be humor in the world, you know, kind of post the post the singularity. podcast-host

We just yes, we have a thousand reasons why it's problematic and so it's become very dangerous to do it. podcast-host

So so anyway, so there's this sort of tribe of hackers where they're they're doing all these like experiments with with large language models, trying to figure out, you know, kind of again, kind of ways to make them, you know, frankly, a lot more interesting and a lot more fun and a lot more, you know, kinda just, you know, learn a lot. podcast-host
