First I'm gonna say thank you to staff for their work on this and uh the presentation.
I'm gonna jump in with some questions, then if I've got time, make a couple of comments.
First I wanna start with Miss Harden.
What roadblocks or difficulties should the council be aware of as we're rewriting the uh ordinances to make specifically the non colocated data centers, right, the ones that we're more concerned about?
uh a conditional use for some of the zoning categories like um IP, L I, M I, R and D, uh commercial
And then prohibit it elsewhere.
Like would this not be an easier method than creating a new zoning category?
Can you walk me through the logic that you guys
chose for this approach.

So that decision hasn't been made.
We're just really defining things as a first step and then gonna make those decisions down the line.
