It is unbelievable that the city is just screaming it needs some kind of development, infrastructure, economic growth.
Instead, they're hosting a conference that's going to centralize in corporate government collusion with
this central planning to save the planet as the overarching goal through net zero well real people suffer and that's what is so immoral about this whole conference from the beginning it's always been like this and the idea being we're going to worry about a trace essential gas in the atmosphere carbon dioxide and we're going to and their their solution isn't for economic growth and wealth for brazilians their solution is climate aid
The other interesting angle is, historically, the largest attending delegation to these UN summits are African nations.
Why is that?
Because the UN figured a long time ago, decades ago, that poor nations are not going to sign on to a UN agenda
if it's going to harm their future development.
So what they did is they promised them hundreds of billions of dollars a year in a UN climate slush fund.
And now you have all these countries coming and wanting handouts.
It's not necessarily the countries, it's the leaders.
And so this money, when the UN divvies up this money, I talked to a South African development activist at a UN summit that was in South Africa a decade ago.
And he explained that the UN Climate Slush Fund goes to the developing world leaders who are most likely and able to lock their citizens in poverty and limit their development.
The UN will pay you because if you are a poor nation, your carbon footprint is lower, you're doing it right for the climate.
So that means you're gonna get money.
You're gonna be able to hand it out to your friends.
You're gonna be able to build stadiums in your name.
You're gonna be able to buy votes.
You're gonna be able to politically organize.
And the UN, that's one of the things the UN is incredibly efficient at, incredibly talented at, I'll say that, is they know the inner workings of politics.
They know how to grease the global political scene.
