So when current reality fails to alarm, they make scarier and scarier predictions of the future.
And you asked if they've adjusted.
No, they have not adjusted the models.
In fact, they tune the models as something called RCP 8.5, which is a modeling algorithm
which basically gets an extreme scenario.
So when they do a study and the UN loves to hype it, they'll have like multiple scenarios.
They'll have a low range, low range scenario, mid range and a high extreme end.
You can bet the UN is going to go with that extreme end.
And you have the UN secretary general just coming out with the same crap every conference about how the world must act.
No one misses it because they know it's all important part of the campaign cause.
This isn't about the science.
The UN Climate Panel was formed in 1988.
It became a self-interested lobbying organization.
It was tasked to look at how CO2 influences the climate, carbon dioxide, and the UN at the same time was tasked with being able to solve the problem.
If at any point the United Nations fails to find a climate emergency, then they lose the second part of their job, which is solving the climate emergency.
And so that is why it's a self-interested lobbying organization.
They're never going to walk away from it because if they fail to find, if the science, as we heard during COVID, fails to find a climate catastrophe,
then the UN is no longer in charge of this.
