And I can sort of see the finish line in the not too distant future.
And and that's what we're going to talk about a little bit today.

So so yes.
So Joy Lawson Davis is a character in the film.
And the film has six distinct stories where we sort of take you to different places around the country and sort of try to show you that giftedness resides sometimes in places we don't expect.
Right.
And so so Joy is kind of an anchor in one of the six stories.
And that story is really about African American giftedness, right?
So so that's a huge part of what the film tries to be.
About is this conversation about how identity and giftedness or identity and intelligence intersect and are really kind of part and parcel of the same set of stories.
Our giftedness, our intelligence is always interacting with our lived experience, who we are.
So all the identities that we wear every day, right?
And this question of identity has become so highly charged in the education system.
Last number of years.
And even the whole concept of equity, which has been sort of the driving force of this film, is being called into question in, you know, school districts everywhere.
And so I am mindful every day that we are making this movie in a very highly charged moment, that Gifted Ed is being targeted as a result.
