And I think uh if he can prove that to his to the coaching staff on a regular basis, they'll play him.
And you know, to his credit, I think he's shown that he can do that.
I think in the games that he played in the playoffs, I thought in the minutes given he was he did exactly what he needed to do.
He was physical.
He pushed the puck out of the zone.
Guys had very little room around him and he punished.
And I think if he can continue to do that while adding a little bit of a little bit more layers in terms of his gap control, stick positioning, rush defense, if he can improve on those aspects and show that he put in a good summer's work of training.
I think he has a legitimate shot at a regular role, at least until we get clarity on Caden Gooley's situation.

Decision time.
I think that's another one that's got a wide open door to fight for a spot here.
And I think if you're the Montreal Canadians, you're kinda hoping he forces the subject.
Because, you know, he's been in Montreal for the last
five or six weeks now.
He's been skating very often next to Lane Hudson, Ivan Demodov.
Um this is a guy that put in the work.
It's the first summer where he didn't have anything impeding him from being active in in the training room.
Uh they put him on a really strong program.
So I think, you know, he's got the momentum going into camp and the fact that he wasn't at
uh Canadians rookie camp as a twenty one year old when there were older players there like Luke Middlestadt.
