I echo what Council Member Driggs said, and I just want to make sure that I'm also putting it into the record.

The relationship with the officers of the MPTA and the staff and the council is so important.

And this isn't easy, but if we don't, we need to start off looking at this as a partnership.

and not a negotiation, because we'll be together for a long time.

So I'm just really appreciative of how council has handled this, as well as staff, and I look forward to, in two weeks, moving this forward.

And before I turn this over to the chair of our safety committee, Council Member Anderson, again, this is something that I had an opportunity to come through the committee.

I do believe after a bunch of fits and starts over the years, we're at a very good place to move forward with the red light cameras.
