Look, I think it was a uh a rather a gamble in many respects, but I think, you know, it's done it's a disruptor, it's been a disruptor and it's worked that way.
Originally the I think the plan was to sync the PGA in some way, shape or form.
Um, you know, nobody will really know un unless you're right on the Internet until
uh for that sort of I suppose what that model looked like.
But I uh I suppose where it came from or sorry, where it got to
was, you know, a a you know, sort of like a breakaway tour, wasn't it?
And uh and you know, Greg Norman's always had a bee in his bonnet about
you know, players owning their rights and and and the PJ doa h toa did have a
a uh an ownership over the players on that and were, you know, probably, you know, you could argue and say that the players were treated not as well as they could be and uh and now when you look at what situation we're in now with
You know, the player equity, the the different the the um the PIP funds and and the P J Tour and and the prize money.
Um, you know, the the P J Tour players are better off for all for Live.
Look, I I g I guess anything's possible.
Um, you know, Scott O'Neill the the the CEO of Live talks a talks a mean game and you know, it seems there's a lot of uh there's a lot of politicking and and lobbying going on, you know, through the media, you know, strains and also, you know, probably behind closed doors as well.
So look I think uh there is a possibility of something it is gonna be smaller, it is g you know, the funds are definitely gonna be smaller as
as publicised.
Uh the the key I I think is, you know, can the brand survive from a from a reputation point of view?
Um, you know, a lot of people are owed money in in the tournaments um organisations, so you know, people in Australia and in and and England, etc., the people that have that have um that have you know gone gone ahead and and had won contracts for all the stands and the and the different things that that are involved in the tournament a lot of the
them haven't been paid and that's been, you know, reported pretty well.
So for the next year to come into, you know, and ask the same people to do the same thing, I I think that's gonna be, you know, pretty tough.
So I think they've got a lot of challenges, you know, ahead for sure.
