It was 1970 in lieu of college, and we went up there andβ
As I always say, planted vegetables upside down for a year.
And then they said, okay, this isn't working.
Came back to New York.
I didn't know what I wanted to do.
And my mother was a great cook.
And I started taking cooking courses.
And I went to Cordon Bleu in Paris and loved it even more.
Wow, real Julia Child.
Yeah, it was really amazing.
And the Culinary Institute of America started accepting females.
So there were 50 of us in the first year.
It was kind of fun.
Yeah.
That's exciting.
It was.
And I worked as a chef.
I'm a good cook.
I was a terrible chef.
I'm really not very good at making the same thing every day taste exactly as it did the day before.
