I would like it to be a fight for the future of the Republican Party.
And I would like to see, you know, a broad base of candidates who are having that conversation and that there are candidates who get in the race, you know, to have that conversation and force it.
Because I think it's what's needed for the party, you know, beyond 28, frankly.
But that being said, I don't know that that'll be the case because I'm not sure who is going to be having that conversation.
And, you know, even though...
You know, we kind of go through this because, look, I'm not convinced even if there is like a blue tsunami in the midterms that that necessarily, you know, I don't know, like the midterms are the midterms.
We like to ascribe a lot in terms of process, but I don't know that that necessarily forces the Republican Party in one direction because.

Well, and so I think so I think how that shows up or whether that happens is whether some of the, you know, technical hair appearance that are more that are part of more of what we're going to call the Trump version of the party right now, whether that's a Rubio or a Vance, you know, do they do they change how they operate and how they speak about the party in the future?

because of that or do they not because they're still you know in the overhang of you know a trump republican party and still afraid or concerned about what that means in terms of you know quote unquote the the maga base and i think that's really the issue you know um it does does trump still have like a psychological hold over future candidates um that they're afraid to you know get out from under what

And look, I do believe campaigns exist for a reason and they exist to see, you know, who ends up being strong, who ends up being a weak candidate.
