I think he was because I was young and he was really the first kind of formidable candidate that I worked for.
I really saw a nuanced side.
I saw him as a person, not just as, you know, the man, the sort of America's mayor, right?
Kind of what we all project on some of our officials, particularly at certain points in time.
And I think that's important because particularly if you're working, you have to understand these are people, they are going to be nuanced.
And you have to kind of be able to have enough familiarity with that to understand when that nuance starts.
like works and is okay.
And there's, and it, and because whatever else that person brings to the table in terms of what they believe, what they can do, how effective they are as a leader is one thing versus they're just kind of a terrible person or do awful things.
Right.
So I just think we've kind of, we're using this idea.
We don't want someone who's perfect in a way to me.
That's a little bit, it's a little bit false because, you know.
Yeah, no, I think it's interesting because, you know, it's almost like we've like we've course corrected too much in one direction.
Right.
I think, you know, there was a time right where I think, you know, on either side, there'd be a flaw, like there would be something that would get in the spotlight of a candidate, whether it's John Edwards or Rudy with his personal life, however we want to kind of characterize it.
And there'd be a lot of focus on that.
Right.
And it would be the thing that people would hang their hat on.
Well, if for this, does that mean, you know, he's worthy of being president of being governor, whatever it is.
And, you know, people who are defenders are like, this feels too much.
