But, yeah, I mean, I think the bigger question is can they, you know, will they get any calls on some of their big three guys who are now, you know, who are expected to kind of be here for the long run but have maybe –

struggled to kind of like you know really perform the way the Giants wanted them to so um you know there's this question about you know would the Giants consider trading Matt Chapman especially since they have another kind of gold glove caliber third baseman in Casey Schmidt who's been blocked from that position because of Chapman's presence so um so yeah I mean I don't know the Giants have committed a lot of money to those guys so the chances of them moving them seem a little bit remote but I guess they're going to be open-minded to anything really um

So, yeah, but it is obviously really disappointing that they're in this position because they kind of expected to be in this window, but things just didn't turn out as they expected.

So it'll kind of be a fascinating deadline for sure.

You know, there also could.

you know, potentially get calls on some other guys like Tyler Malley or Sam Hentges.

So I think there's going to be a lot of activity leading up to the deadline.

So we'll see how it all goes down.

So it'll probably be a busy day.

Yeah, I mean, I think he was just a really incredible story.

I mean, he obviously, you know, his twin brother, Taylor, ended up also kind of debuting in the majors a lot earlier than he did.

You know, he had to wait until he was 28 years old to finally break through, even though he had kind of this

really long track record of success at AAA.

I think there was just kind of like this hesitancy about him just because he obviously doesn't throw hard.

He's kind of like this weird submariner.

So I think someone like the previous administration maybe didn't really believe that he could be effective in the majors.

And then once Farhan Zaidi kind of came in, they just decided to give him a look.

And he ended up being one of the most underrated relievers probably in the National League for like

his entire seven-year run in San Francisco.

I mean, he honestly probably should have been at All-Star at least a couple of times, but I think it was maybe just a little tough just because he was never, like, the closer.
