They just were making the connection of journalist equals criminal.
Ich meine, es ist die gleiche Narrative wie bei Präsident Trump in seiner ersten Präsidentschaft. Wenn du nicht mit ihm bist, bist du gegen ihn. Und du bist gegen nationalen Interesse. Du bist ein Feind der Menschen. Das kam aus Dutertes, aus meinem Vorsitzenden auch. Aber dann, was ist passiert? Es trendete. Es ist wie Fertilisator, weil ich zwei Jahre später verhaftet wurde.
Aber als ich verhaftet wurde, hat es den Boden gesetzt, sodass es akzeptabel war. Du normalisierst das. Du normalisierst Impunität. Das ist die Rolle, die die sozialen Medien gespielt haben. Die Lüge kommen auf, die Bubbeln auf den sozialen Medien, und dann kommt das Gesetzesverfahren ein Jahr später in den Top-Down. Das ist, was uns passiert ist. Also 2016, die Online-Attacken.
Ich hatte eine Anzahl von 90 Hate-Messages pro Stunde. Und dann 2017, 2018, Investitionen. Der erste Versuch, Rappler aufzuschalten, war 2018.
