It was difficult.

And that's when he started working.
He was able to leave and left us, left my mom and my, and my, my brother in Cuba, um, made a promise that he was going to take us out, but he had to do this.
He had to leave, go to Spain, raise money with the help of his family.
And, you know,
At some point, take us.
But in that time, I saw my mom.
I saw my mom, her struggles, having to cook flan at home to be able to help raise us and to maintain the house.
And those struggles, what made me, you know, gave me that push.
The resilience, absolutely.
You know, the resilience, the push to get to where I needed to get.
And I mean...
I've never went back to Cuba, but I know that when there's a communist, you know, when everything settles, I will go and I will build a business there.
At some point in my life.
I saw that.
It was crazy.
I was there.
That was a big commotion.
