You know, people can say that this is that Biden, many things about Biden, but Biden has had the most consequential policy agenda in our lifetimes.
He had the ACA on steroids when it comes to building the infrastructure, building resources into local communities that right now we're in the thick of it, Don.
But in 10, 15 years, people are going to be blown away of his accomplishments.
But they have done such a poor job of communicating that literally when you knock on the door, they've never heard of it.
No one's ever talked to them.
And they're going to say, wait a second, I've been a recipient of that.
And I did vote last time.
Maybe I should think about it again.
Part of it, I think, is this idea of othering.
And so when you're a group that is othered, it's easier to say, OK, I'm going to other another group.
But I will tell you, at Votals, I worked so closely with Derek Johnson at the NAACP.
Our issues are one.
And part of it is that the Democrats, I will say, don't recognize that the commonality among black-brown communities is not only this shared experience of our day-to-day today, but also recognizing that together,
We are unstoppable.
And they take for granted oftentimes that the base of the Democratic Party is Black-Brown coalition.
That is the base.
And we need to make sure that they are constantly talking about those issues and not taking us for granted.
I do have to say that the Kamala Harris campaign
has done a really strong job.
She's seen where she was, you know, where she was doing this really strong job creating a black agenda that was speaking specifically to young black men.
