remote voting so you miss your committee votes and for those who follow European Parliament politics it's incredible it's crunch point right now like come January we'll be voting on the EU budget we're voting on common agriculture policy health funding and all of that is incredibly important and I don't want to sit in front of people in 2029 and say I work my you know I didn't work hard enough to get back there and do that so it's a bit it's a bit balanced but I have to say
It is.
I mean, listen, politic hours are never as friendly as they should be for family, and I'm sure my national and local colleagues would feel the same and share that.
We do have a crash on site that will take babies up to three months and beyond, or three months, I should say, old and upwards.
So I'll be really leaning into my mum in particular, and my dad, shared duty, and then trying to
balance it all.
But I have to say, my team will still be working behind the scenes.
I've someone in the constituency full time that works and will be representing me.
So the aim of the game is that constituents don't feel that I'm gone for so long.
And to add to that, because I've shared with some, obviously, family and friends, and many of them are working
their own businesses, they're either farmers.
So maternity and paternity leave looks quite nice considering I can take six weeks or four weeks off.
For other people, that's not the case.

Well, at least that's what parents have told me since.
So I hope that's the case.
