The National Weather Service predicts a heavy snowfall combined with strong winds will result in blizzard conditions in coastal areas from Delaware through southern New England.

In D.C., the brunt of the storm will hit tonight into Monday with morning work commutes and school schedules likely disrupted.

At major airports, thousands of flights were canceled ahead of the storm, with airlines waiving change and cancellation fees.

The governors of New York and New Jersey have declared states of emergency.

Governor Hochul is warning residents to take the storm seriously.

Powerball's largest prize ever was more than $2 billion, which was won in November 2022.

That was also the largest lottery prize in U.S.

history.

The next Powerball drawing will be the 46th of this current jackpot run, a record for the most drawings with no big winners, according to Powerball officials.

Since its launch in 1992, Powerball says ticket sales have generated $37 billion for states' public service initiatives, including education and seniors programs.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

The next Powerball drawing is Monday night.

There may be some minor accumulations, perhaps from, let's say, areas north and west of Baltimore on up through Philadelphia, New York City, and up to Boston.

But it's mainly going to be the interior areas where the heaviest accumulations are going to be.

Trump announced the signing in a lengthy Truth Social post, saying that it was because of his influence that the bill passed so decisively.

House Speaker Mike Johnson had lobbied for amendments to the legislation, saying that he and the president had concerns about protecting the victims.

The bill, as passed, allows for redaction of victims' identities as well as withholding information that could jeopardize ongoing federal investigations.
