And the beach used to be a big part of my life growing up.

We would go to the beach every year for vacation.

You know, living in Alabama, we'd go down to Seaside.

We'd go down to like just the white beaches, the Pensacola area.

Yeah.

And have like a family vacation.

So I really was like, well, since we're here, we should go to the beach.

And so we found this place from Oaxaca called Puerto Escondido.

But it was going to be like a six to eight hour bus drive.

Right?

It was going to be a long ass bus drive.

And this bus, this is the only bus I truly remember.

Like stops and literally puts it on us, like both of our faces individually and then together.

And then he keeps walking and then he like leaves.

So they reported us in case we were taken and we didn't know that at the time.

When did we find that out though?

We found it out later.

Yeah.

Thank goodness nothing happened to us and we were fine.

But it was one of those moments where you're like, holy shit.
