They did not.
And we asked Uber for an interview on how they calculated the pickup times.
While they didn't make anyone available, they did share some stats that suggested that their pickup times are pretty accurate.
But this is the weird final stage of pizza tracker history.
Pizza trackers went from an internal tool to manage workers to an external experience providing transparency for customers.
Customers loved them so much that they were adopted by companies around the world.
But then some companies at least twisted them to be less than accurate.
These trackers sometimes have become more.

Because there's this whole world of people who think that the Domino's pizza tracker is also veering into deception.
