So, I don't think Trump anticipated the blowback on this and the extent of the fury.

And, Cal, I think Mike Pence was very gracious not to point out that these are the people who carried a scaffold to Capitol Hill and were chanting, hang Mike Pence.

You know, he has good reason to feel aggrieved about this, but so do the police officers who were beaten to a pulp, who had to retire because of their injuries, who suffered severe trauma.

The whole thing is completely disgusting.
