How the parents can take it and he said, he was like, Marissa, we don't um, you know, we never want parents to feel like when their kids are freshmen that they have to be so obsessed with it and that life should revolve around it and activities should revolve around college.
And I wholeheartedly agree.
So even when you take the course freshman year, it's not to say that

And and kids as well, like super, super preparing, but there are steps to start taking and start thinking about.
And again, really just to have that roadmap of what the rest of high school will look like.
Because with anything in life, whether it's a job, starting a new hobby, or you know, someone who wants to begin anything.
Before you start, it's that there's always a fear of it feels harder, it feels scary because you just haven't done it yet.
So by taking the course anytime early, you just kind of get that visual, you get the roadmap and you feel more comfortable.
So freshman year, there are fewer things to do to start preparing.
Um, but there are some days to keep in mind.
Um it does give great advice of just simple things that kids can be doing to better themselves and to really learn about themselves.
as they start choosing extracurricular activities and
kind of building their own story for who they are and what they're interested in.
Yeah, that's such a great question and um one I love I love that you mentioned, you know, when you were applying to a college and and that's what I hear uh from a lot of parents, is the fact that they have no idea what it's like anymore because it truly has changed so much.
