X very exploratory, just check whether it can do this thing, whether whether it can do this thing, speculate a little bit about about like how capable it is, how what's happening inside and so on.
And then a lot of it for us is actually just running our full eval suite and see where the numbers differ compared to previous models.
And then just look at everything in detail, right?
Go through all of the different transcripts it it produced, or at least randomly sample from them, or look at the ones that have where it performs really well and compare and look at the failure modes and the cases where it fails and see how these differ from previous models and maybe.
The main takeaway for me was just like

It's like exactly the kind of thing that that OpenAI was saying.
It it makes like si significantly less mistakes while reasoning.
The failure modes seem less dumb.
It's more reliable.
And the reasoning just seems like more

But I haven't tested in many of the other settings where I would usually use L M, so I have not used it for
research idea generation, I have not used it for coding, I have not used it for any of the other things, but this is primarily just because we didn't have any time to do the exploration for this 'cause we were so focused on everything related to deception.
