There's lots of psychedelics that are being investigated with therapy to match certain challenges that people are having mental health-wise.
Yeah, lots of stuff like that.
So lots of stuff happening, and not just in the realm of mental health, but looking at dementia and Alzheimer's, looking at head injuries, looking at other areas, chronic pain, headaches, lots of bits and pieces.
So this is an emerging treatment that's going to kind of change the landscape of health treatment over the next 10 years.
It's pretty exciting, but we don't know yet exactly...
Yeah, there's a few organisations in Australia that are very strong advocacy-wise and they fought pretty hard to get to the right people to make those decisions.
So I think all of the decisions in government, decisions in these kind of health decisions and with Medicare and DVA and things like that, if you can get to the right people with the right message and the right information, you can make changes.
There's some people like me focusing on the therapeutic work and there's other people focusing on policy and advocacy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So we're trying to tread carefully, but also tread bravely as well at the same time.
And it's like trying to get that mix right.
Wow, that's a big question.
I know.
We talk a lot about change, but just as important and the other side of the coin is acceptance.
And so I just want to keep reminding us all that self-acceptance, self-respect, self-love, these are beautiful therapeutic qualities and actually maybe what we're really aiming for anyway.
And so I just think we get caught up in
What do we need to do, change, develop and grow?
And that can all be pretty cool.
But yeah, it's that other aspect too, which I think we really need to acknowledge and not forget.
