Yeah, I mean, I'm highly neurotic as a person.
Sounds familiar again.
Like, yeah, like if I don't release from my body and relax my mind and settle my thoughts and do all that, I can get
into a bad situation pretty quickly.
You know, I've learned that over many, many years.
This mindfulness meditation skill set allows me to not just relax my nervous system, but allow the neurotic kind of entanglement to sort of like soften a little bit.
And behind that and around and within that is like a lot of peace and openness.
And that's nice to remember that that's there.
And it's there now and forever all the time.
It's just a matter of recognizing it.
Yes, in an instant.
So it's beautiful to just be able to access that whenever you need to.
And, you know, for listeners who are like, that's impossible.
One is it just takes ages to kind of slack any skill.
But two, you've got to practice lots.
And you don't have to be good at it.
You've just got to keep doing it.
But also if I'm totally overwhelmed or activated or triggered or burnt out or whatever, you know, I can't get there either.
So it's like, you know, this is not a magic thing that cuts through everything.
Sometimes I need, you know, therapy or sometimes I need a walk or a good hug or, you know, heavy metal music is another way for me to sort of.
