Influence operations.
They always seize on a real issue that Americans actually care about.
And this is an issue that they actually are going to care about.
And if we don't get the guardrails right, we do this, we see this in the polling.
Like when you have guardrails on AI, support for data center goes up by like 19% in the polling.
Um, so there is a path out of the woods here because in in some res real respects, under President Trump's leadership, we are reindustrializing the United States and preparing for the 21st century.
And this is some of the infrastructure that we're gonna need.
But we can't be stupid about how we're going about it.
And and and part of that equation has to be these getting our arms around these these AI guardrails so the public can have confidence um that that you know the the government's doing.
But look, the the the trust has been broken.

We have AI agents of untold numbers.
We have no idea how many of them roaming around the internet, committing felonies, breaking into other people's companies, social engineering uh attacks on other human beings, and the response from D C has been a little muted.
Um it's it's a little shocking to me um that these things are now happening and in the in the and the government hasn't sort of been a more uh assertive actor in in some of this stuff.
But clearly we are in a new paradigm now.
Um I'm sure you probably saw that thirteen hundred or so of these company employees signed a letter urging the government to work with them on an international way to like basically pace AI development so these companies can be really
