I haven't sat on a panel uh but I've gone through the process as an assistant coach trying to get the uh to get the job. voice-verified

Um and that was I think on the panel that with Adelaide it was in after um after Neil Craig left, uh they had Lee Matthews was there and amongst a couple of others that we've sort of had high sort of footy IQ. voice-verified

Because that's the that's the thing and that's why well I know we'll get to Carlton in a minute, but that's why Josh Fraser, I reckon, is ahead of that field because he is delivering it and it's not a it's not a leap of faith for the for the uh for the panel to say, yep, we believe that this guy could actually deliver this program in in the way that he's presented because I think everyone would present a reasonably slick presentation with great um voice-verified

the the the stuff that needs to be in there because everyone's presentation is pretty good and and they've get they get help to put it together, so it's not that, it's it's how likely is it that you're gonna be able to execute it. voice-verified

So they've improved this year and they've been in games longer and they've had a couple of wins where they've crossed over, but they've just given a couple back because they couldn't do it well enough for long enough. voice-verified

So that's the the development of some of those younger players who have definitely come forward. voice-verified

They've had some injuries as well to some of their their big name recruits at different stages. voice-verified
