I thought he was one of their better players last week against Adelaide, kicked three goals, starting to find the footy a bit more.
So I think it's a really good signing, but yeah, I reckon he got a cracking deal because of where Gold Coast are at right now.

But it's hard to think that he's going to get that type of deal when there's so many other clubs that are desperate for forwards.
And I think he'll probably be the benefactor of a pretty sizable deal with another club if he's prepared to leave.

And often the evening of the pay scale is post-premierships, when you've actually got some runs on the board and you're still challenging, you're trying to keep that together, and the promise is, hey, boys, if we can keep this together, we will benefit, and longer term it's going to be better for you.
In the end, I think, yes, some players, maybe they take a sideways glance at the fact that this person comes in and they're getting more, but at the end of the day,
If that is the piece that fits into the puzzle that makes you a premiership player, I tell you what, you're pretty happy at the end of it all because that's what we all play for.
You want to be part of success and it's about bringing people to the club.
And if I'm a player and we are able to attract one of the big guns that everyone's chasing and they want to come to our club, I think I'd go to the level five and give them a thumbs up and say, well done, you brought people to the club, which makes us better, which gives me a better chance of having success.
