Well, who knows what went on there.

It seems like Carolina jumped the gun on Billy, which I was surprised about.

But this is going on now for a while.

The Bulls' season has been over, well, literally for a week, and you would have thought a decision would have been made.

I haven't understood why Billy's been here this long.

They've had no chance to win for a long time.

Now they're actually making a pivot.

You have multiple first-round draft picks.

you have a new GM and a new philosophy coming in.

I mean, if you've waited this long, you might as well on some level, I would think, go for the payoff.

But the fact that it's being drawn out here, it makes me wonder if Billy wants to maybe just reach the end point.

I mean, logically I would think he would have wanted the Carolina job.

Like Billy Donovan, when you look at the problems for the Bulls the last half a decade –

He's number and he's not even on the list.

And if he was on the list for some, he would be objectively, you know, number 7800 or something like that.
