It's a more dangerous and divided world.

That's the reality.

So we are no longer relying just on the strength of our values.

We are also building the value of our strength.

And as we do, we're reviving the ambitious spirit that built Canada.

Our country, our country was forged by indigenous peoples and voyagers who mapped this continent.

Think about it.

They mapped this continent and they built vast trading networks from coast to coast to coast before the Americans had even left St.

Louis.

Right now, everyone sees the main threat as the Trump tariffs.

But the challenge, the challenge is greater.

The challenge will be as it's always been to foster unity and the common good, end quote.

Canadians are being called to serve.

but not against something, for something, for each other.

Because you believe, like I believe, that Canada is only strong when it works for everyone.

That's our objective.

And that's our heritage.

After all, Canada is a nation forged through accommodation, not assimilation.
