Yeah, I don't think you ever want to rob him of being aggressive.

It's like asking Ronald Acuna to do different things or J-Rod to do different things.

I just think you get him to understand how he's being attacked, what he does well, what he hits well, what zones.

Chipper Jones kind of taught me how to hit when I was in the big leagues.

He's like, what do you do well?

Let's lean into that.

Let's understand how guys are trying to attack you, how they try and get you out.

So I just think he's starting to learn.

I still think there's some valley, but he's always going to be a guy that's a little peak valley.

But if he starts working some walks and turns those 0 for 4s into 0 for 3s, you could save your season.

I know you are.

I saw Grady Emerson move to the top of the mock draft.

I don't know if I'm buying it, though.

Why is that?

Well, Rock Cholowski has been the guy for the better part of a year and a half.

I've been hearing his name, and I think when you're that guy and you're on top, I think people have a long time to kind of poke holes in everything you do.

Yeah.

I think the biggest question you've got to ask yourself is if you feel Grady Emerson three years from now is a better version of Rock Cholowski.

I certainly like Grady's swing a little bit better, but Rock has been the dude at UCLA for a while.
