But he was playing this game almost perfectly before then in building out these capabilities.
And I think what he should have done if I were him, I would have waited out Trump.
I would have waited three and a half years.
I would have taken the offer in Oman, which gave him enrichment capability above ground.
This consortium that was going to be built in three and a half years would never be built.
And even if it was built, he could just say, I'm not interested anymore and challenge the next president, whoever that is, Republican or Democrat, to do anything about it.
And I think the political calculation should have been the next president's not going to do anything about this.

But he challenged Trump.
He thought Trump was a paper tiger.
He rejected that offer at Oman.
And we've seen what's happened over the past couple of weeks.
He didn't say that.
But the implication was, by the way, no U.S.
president ever said they're going to obliterate Iran.
