And that and that's why, you know, social media has become, you know, actively used by, you know, by the labor movement, just for that that very reason.
employers, a lot of companies, you know, they want to jump on the bandwagon and say, you know, we need a Facebook page and we need a Twitter account and, you know, they sometimes will assign somebody to uh, you know, here send our message out without a lot of thought being given to it.
And it's the type of thing where
The employer
has to decide what type of message they're getting out and how they want to utilize this.
And and training is the issue.
And and you know, for a lot of companies that might that might mean bringing somebody in to to actually, you know, from outside to train folks.
There there's actually kind of a funny funny instance that happened recently.
Um Chrysler was uh they had this big
ad campaign uh where they were kind of tying their cars into the rebirth of Detroit.
And they had a Twitter account and they were sending out all these things that pretty much went along with their campaign and they had hired some
hip young folks to to to manage this.
And one of them sent out a message.
I don't know if he was bored or or annoyed that day.
And it was it went out to all these thousands of people and it said, It's funny
how
Detroit is known as the motor city, yet nobody here can expletive drive.
And and this went out under the Chrysler tweet account and it and it it just kinda set off a firestorm and obviously did a lot of damage to this this whole publicity campaign, although it's
It's it's pretty funny, um, if you're not Chrysler.
Um and I think that's an example of just throwing people out there and saying, Here, go do social media for us you know, without without really
