And Donald Trump, if he wants to, the president of the United States, can do some type of executive order which would aim to either cap, eliminate, or punish those who try to take diversity into account in any of its decision making.
That was a different time.
And like you said, this rule isn't that old.
It's basically a post-pandemic or during pandemic rule.
And we know what the backlash has been since a lot of things happened in the year 2020.
It doesn't even make sense as an excuse, though.
This is why I think this is the most viable reason why they're doing this.
They just don't want the blowback.
And also, the NFL's always been hard-headed and stubborn, as you say.
They're going to do what they want to do and dare someone to challenge them.
Look at the competition committee, the celebration of touchdowns.
