I want to say this.

For Billy Donovan, this whole thing is about, first of all, him figuring out what he actually wants to do.

But understand, if he's here and you want to bring in the best of the best to interview for this job, you can't ask him to have to take a coach that isn't his coach.

He should be able to select his own head coach.

Billy Donovan's not the only good coach out here.

You have to understand how things work.

And I think a lot of people, I don't know if this is because of sports gambling, fantasy sports, or just maybe fantasy the way we think about sports and basketball and football, baseball, where you have these ideas, right?

But their ideas may not be the way things work in the real world.

And I think while Billy Donovan is a Hall of Fame coach, I'm not questioning his coaching credentials.

there's more than one way to get things done.

And you want to make sure whoever you hire next to do this job after six failed seasons by our church, Connor Chauvis and company, that this guy has all the tools available to him to make his vision come to life.

And if that doesn't include Billy Donovan, so be it.
