As you get healthy, as you get guys back, or as healthy as they possibly can, maybe don't get healthy, and you have to play it out with the roster that you have currently.
I think this roster, the guys on this 26-man roster right now will determine what the final two months looks like for the Chicago Cubs, both this year and beyond.
And look, the thing that's going really well for them right now is Pete Carl Armstrong.
That dude is playing out of his mind.
And it's good to see that version of Pete after some of the way the Lowe's looked late last year into the postseason, early this season.
And since the, we'll call it the altercation at Ray Field on the south side, he's been able to, you know, look like one of the best players in Major League Baseball.
But you need players outside of Pete to come through, not only with runners in score position, when there's nobody on, right?
When there's one person on first base, like they need offensive production in all different situations, not just with runners in score position.

I don't want to be a big league hitting coach.
I know those jobs are a lot more difficult than they appear to people on the outside.
I do think that you have to, at this point, try whatever you can to find a spark in the lineup.
you know before it was moving pca up to the leadoff spot that worked right like that was the movie to say okay we can put this together and have pete penciled into the top now for the other nine names i do think you're gonna have to mix and match here and you know see if somebody can catch fire in a different part of the lineup um so you're saying matt shaw batting second uh where you what position is matt shaw playing to be in the lineup every day in martial arts
Okay.
Tonight, if we have baseball, because I, you know.
I don't know.
Russ might have some.
Did you see a different map or something, Russ?
I'm looking outside my window.
