Tens of millions of Americans and millions in Michigan don't want the status quo because like Trump supporters in 2015 and 2016, they're for anybody who will roll into Washington with sticks of dynamite on their calves, ready to blow the place up and start over.
That's what this guy is promising.
Let's see if he can win the general election.
But if he does, he could be the presidential nominee.

You did a great job of laying out the what, what is happening with Dr. Alcide, why the Michigan Senate primary for the Democrats is such an important prism through which to look to this.
The why is what continues to be just so difficult for me, as much reporting as I've done on it.
I never would have imagined that in a Senate race,
including in the formal debates the candidates have had, that the candidate who seems on track to win the primary, maybe easily, would repeatedly invoke AIPAC.
If you said in a normal Senate race, yeah, we're in debate prep, the candidate says, I'm going to bring up AIPAC a lot.
